Cheers to a Great Year!!!!!

We would like to say thank you for a wonderful year. We enjoyed getting to know each and every child and learning with them. The progress reports and portfolios are being sent home June 26th. Be sure to look at your child's accomplishments and

Toast Program

The toast program in now over. Thank you to all the volunteers who made this program a huge success.

Dominos is giving all staff and students free pizza.

PJ Day on Friday- June 15

Friday is pj day!
Grade 3 is organizing this day.
They are asking for a dollar donation with all proceeds going towards the Ryan Wells Foundation. Thank you for your support.

Camping Center in Kindergarten

We are putting together a camping center in our dramatic play area. We did a thought web and are asking for help to bring in items. Some ideas are: Flashlights, branches, marshmallows, play picnic table, play BBQ, sleeping bag. The children also asked to make Smores!! Thanks:)

We are rotating two books to the kindergarten families.
The books are called We are Special and Rhyme Time. We continue to celebrate literacy.We are great authors and illustrators!!! We made the books with much passion and hard work. Please read it together and send it back the next day so that every child gets a turn to take it home. Thank you for your continued support.

Cupcakes for sale May 8th

At lunch time the home and school are selling cupcakes for 25 cents each.

We did a tally.The majority of kindergarten children like the T-Rex dinosaur the best!Show and Tell is Friday March 30th about dinosaurs.

Library Book Exchange

Library books!

We have decided to begin taking a library book home once a week. Books will be sent home in your child's agenda and has to be returned on WEDNESDAYS. We have talked to the children about taking good care of the books while they are at their house.

Guided Reading

We have began guided reading with some of the children in kindergarten. We will be sending the books home every Wednesday. Please sign inside the folder so that we know your child has read it to you and return it on Thursdays

SMART BOARD in Kindergarten

We are thrilled to be learning with a new SMARTBOARD!
We plan to use the new technology by incorporating interactive lessons with the children. We are all learning together- teachers and students.

Our Island


We will be discussing “Our Island” next week in kindergarten to tie in with our Social Studies Outcomes. We are asking for families to bring in items they may have at home to do with PEI. Examples may be sea glass, farming pictures; drift wood etc. We will display items in our classroom for the week and send them home on Monday November 28. Be creative and have fun!

Food Orders on Monday's

When ordering milk, subs or pizza please put your child’s order forms and money in their AGENDAS not their backpacks or lunch cans. The agendas are checked first thing each morning and the orders need to be put into the office by 9am. Thank you for your cooperation
