Did you know?

Watermelons are made of 90 percent water

Watermelons float

The outside of a watermelon is called the rind

The inside of the watermelon is called the flesh

The seeds can be baked in the oven the same as pumpkin seeds

Everyone in our class tried the juicy drippy treat and only one person did not like it

Healthy Bodies andYum's Food Adventure

Thank you to Barb from the PEI School Milk Foundation for talking to the class about healthy and not so healthy eating habits. We met Yums and Fussypants.She challenged the kindergarten to bring in a colourful lunch, just like Canada's food guide.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Did you know that caterpillars love to eat?  Caterpillars have sucker legs to help them stay on leaves.

We had a caterpillar hiding in a small box.  We closed our eyes and felt to see if we could guess what it was.
