Operation Christmas Child
Kindergarten is participating in Operation Christmas Child.
We are discussing needs and wants in our social studies curriculum. We plan to take this a step further and as a class collect
items to help children in need in other areas of the world such as Nicaragua and Haiti.
We are hoping to fill as many shoe boxes as possible to help others.
We are collecting items such as : crayons, pencils, markers, small stuffed animals, jump ropes, solar calculators, books, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, comb, washclothes, lollipops, t-shirts, mints, gum, flashlight or watches. If any staff, parents or children would like to bring in an item-Drop it off to Patti or Jen by Friday November 25th.
Here is Denika with an empty box. We hope to fill as many as possible. As of November 18th- The school has worked together to fill 37 boxes! Thanks
